SIGNALCHESS
Terms and conditions
For SignalChess. Last updated: 12 October 2026.
1. Provider and scope
SignalChess is offered by naru media KG, Mariahilferstraße 88a, staircase 1, door 2, 1070 Vienna, Austria, info@naru.at. These terms apply to the agreed use of the software. Mandatory statutory rights, particularly consumer rights, remain unaffected.
2. Service
The service supports importing and analysing chess games, training, coaching and feedback. The scope and usage limits depend on the chosen plan and the information provided when the contract is formed. Chess platforms and AI services may affect the availability of individual features. Analyses and AI responses may contain errors; no particular sporting success is promised.
3. Account and contract formation
Account details must be accurate. Protect your credentials and report unauthorised use. A free account creates no payment obligation. A paid contract is formed only through an expressly confirmed order and its acceptance. The price, service scope, billing period and essential contract terms are displayed before ordering.
4. Prices, term and cancellation
The prices shown on the Pricing page are per month, including applicable VAT. The confirmed checkout offer applies. Monthly subscriptions renew for another month unless cancelled before the current billing period ends. Cancel through subscription management or by email to info@naru.at. Access remains available until the end of the paid period. A free trial does not become paid without an express order.
5. Consumers and withdrawal
Consumers generally may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of its formation without giving reasons. A clear statement to naru media KG, info@naru.at or the postal address above is sufficient. Sending the statement within the period meets the deadline. Following a valid withdrawal, we generally refund payments within 14 days of receiving the statement, using the same payment method.
If you expressly request that a service begin during the withdrawal period, a legally permissible proportionate amount for services already provided may be payable on withdrawal. Losing the right of withdrawal requires the separate declarations and conditions prescribed by law; use of the service or acceptance of these terms alone does not cause this.
Sample withdrawal: “I hereby withdraw from the contract I entered into for the use of SignalChess. Ordered on: … Name: … Address: … Date: …” You may add your signature to a paper statement. Using this sample is optional.
6. Content and coaches
You retain the rights to your content and grant us only the usage rights necessary to provide the service. Upload only content you are entitled to use. Coaches must ensure they are authorised to manage their players' profiles and process the associated data. Public sharing occurs at your request. Abuse, unlawful content, interference with other accounts and bypassing plan limits are prohibited.
7. Availability and changes
We operate and maintain the service with reasonable care. Maintenance, security measures and external provider disruptions may cause interruptions. Statutory warranty rights for digital services remain in place. Material adverse contract changes are communicated in good time and made only on a lawful basis; you receive a right to terminate where required. Price changes do not apply retroactively to periods already paid for.
8. Suspension and termination
In cases of specific abuse or serious breaches of contract, access may be restricted to the extent necessary. Where possible, we inform you of the reason and provide an opportunity to remedy the issue. After the contract ends, data is handled according to the Privacy policy . Use the available export functions before deleting your account.
9. Liability and warranty
Statutory warranty rights apply. We are liable under statutory provisions, particularly for intent, gross negligence and personal injury. Mandatory statutory liability is not excluded. For business customers, liability for damage caused by slight negligence is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to foreseeable damage typical of the contract.
10. Privacy and final provisions
Information on personal data processing is available in the privacy policy. Austrian law applies. Consumers retain the protection of mandatory provisions of their country of habitual residence. Statutory consumer jurisdictions remain unaffected. For business customers, the competent court in Vienna is agreed where permitted. The invalidity of one provision does not affect the remaining provisions.
